all these questions are just me being curious, im just wondering which dog would fit into that specific category the best. you can put more than one dog in the category, but try to keep it a maximum of 3… you might not have an answer for all of them but just guess… copy and paste this in your answer so its easier to read. PUREBREDS ONLY dont say any mixes, except well known ones like labradoodle but thats about it

(trainability does NOT equal intelligence!

Least shedding: Mexican hairless, Chinese crested
shortest life span: Bulldog, Mastiff
longest life span: Toy poodles.
healthiest: Any uncommon "natural" breed. Canaan dogs, Telomians, New Guinea Singing Dogs.

I have two Basenjis and a Basenji/Cattledog mix. And yes, I am biased LOL
Laziest: Bulldog? Basset Hounds? Not too sure.
Smartest: According to studies, it is the Border Collie.
Loudest: Smaller breeds. Eventhough they are small, their barks are damn loud & high pitch! They beat larger dogs anytime!
Quietest: Basenji. Does not bark at all!
Most Active: Small dogs are pretty active because they are light & full of energy.
Strongest: Pit Bulls & Rotties. I think Malinois are pretty strong too.
Most bizarre colour coat: Those who colour their dogs with dye I guess? LOL!
Most bizarre coat: The Komondor. Interesting but weird coat.

Least Shedding: I think Poodles. Not too sure.
Shortest lifespan: The larger the dog, the shorter the lifespan.
Longest lifespan: Most small dogs live longer than bigger ones.
Healthiest: If well bred & well taken cared of, any dog can be healthy. There certainly no such thing as the healthiest dog.
Most prone to disease/early death: If it’s a lousy bred dog, from a puppy mill or BYB, if not taken cared well & if it inherits the parents’ faulty genes, it can die as early as the moment it’s born.
Ugliest: Well to me, a mixed breed dog can be ugly if mied with too many types of dog breeds. I call them alien dogs. Not to offend anybody with mutts here, I am not against mutts at all.
Coolest: Any dog can look cool.
Dumbest: Well, according to research, the least intelligent dog in the world is the Afghan. There isn’t really a such thing as the dumbest dog. All dogs can be trained but some dogs will take a longer time to get it while others are faster. Owners just need to put in more effort.
Easiest to train: Cannot say.
Hardest: Cannot say.
Most abundant: Huskies?
Biggest appetite: Small or big dogs have different appetites. Some small dogs eat a LOT while some large dogs, eat very little. But I’d have to say the Labrador Retriever. Goldens are pretty close.
Smallest appetite: Don’t know. It depends on each dog not breed.
What kind of dog(s) do you have? I have two Goldens & a Dalmatian myself.

Quietest- Greyhound, they rarely ever bark, if at all, and they sleep a lot.
Longest living- Blue heeler, they have recorded the oldest age for any dog which is 29 years.
Most active- Jack russel, they never sit still or stop running.
I work at a shelter and see so many of each of these breeds, which helps me to catogorise them. I foster greyhounds, and have had a blue heeler x. I have recently adopted a bull mastiff x staffy.

and it has probably made me biased.
Smartest: Saluki, Azawakh, other sighthound breeds, they can think for themselves and are too smart for their own good.

Most shedding: Newfoundland or Saint Bernard maybe, they have a very thick coat which is why I chose them. Collies too.
Least shedding: Xoloitzuintle, Peruvian Inca Orchid, Hairless Khala, all hairless.
shortest life span: I’ve heard some Irish Wolfhounds don’t live past 4.
longest life span: Schipperke live a long time, usually late teens.
healthiest: A lot of sighthounds are incredibly healthy, Pharaoh Hounds, Sloughi, Saluki, all very healthy.
most prone to disease/early death: Bulldogs, very unhealthy.
ugliest: I don’t like most Boxers.
coolest
dumbest: Labradors, they seem to do whatever people want them to do, and can’t think for themselves
easiest to train: Border Collie
hardest to train: Again, most sighthounds, Afghan Hounds have been shown to be very hard to train, but oriental sighthounds would be even more difficult, dogs like Taigan, Tazi, Bakhmull, etc.
most abundant: If you mean most common, then Labradors.
biggest appetite: Basset Hounds and Beagles, while they may not eat as much as other breeds, they seem to like food the most.
smallest appetite: A lot of Pekingese show dominance over their owners by refusing to eat food, except for the food of the highest quality.
