Amazing dog facts! Do you know….?

Do you realize that dogs are carnivorous mammals? NOT fashion accessories or dolls or "fur-babies" or magical/mythical/fantasy beasts?
That ALL dogs shed,drool,eliminate,vomit,scratch,eat,bark,growl,whine,bite?Need to be trained,fed,watered,exercised,cleaned-up after,groomed,vetted,etc. EVERY DAY for years,whether or not you’re busy,bored,sick…?
That there is no such thing as a "best" breed? "Best" for who? "Best" at what? That’s why there are 200+/- breeds;so you can-through research-find a REAL breed,w/a standard & real,responsible people who actually know what they’re talking about regarding that breed?
That there is an AKC show every wk-end across the country where you can see/meet hundreds of breeds & their owners & make an educated choice for what could be a "best" dog for you for the next 15+/- years? So you don’t make an impulse decsion that will hurt all involved?

Comparison of dog training schools (ABC vs. KPA vs. Ben Kersen vs. Michael Ellis)?

I have been looking into some dog training schools and would appreciate any info experienced dog trainers can provide.

As I see it so far:

Animal Behaviour College:
Least expensive
Good overview of material
Can take grooming & training (more info)
practical part is based on a mentor who may or may not be what you are looking for (this is where I see most complaints)

Karan Pryor Academy:
More in depth knowledge
More expensive
Only 8 days with a trainer?

Ben Kersen & The Wonderdogs:
Seems outdated
Have 3 full months of full time hands on
Need to incur travel costs
Only accredited training school

Michael Ellis:
2 weeks hands on
travel costs
appreciate and intensive
Seems up to date

Any suggestions? Thoughts?

I want to mention that a lot of trainers are telling me to just get out there but I am having a hard time getting into the industry so want to increase my knowledge and experience by attending a course.
Thank you for the stars, I really hope to get some answers.

If there are other schools I should be looking at please share.
I am in Canada.
I have been doing work and fostering for a local rescue.

This is not a fly by night decision, I am leaving a very good paying job of 6 years doing admin work to make a major career change. I want the best preperation I can to move into this industry.

Real "dog-people",please…….is it possible to teach civilians the facts about proper dog management?

Can the importance of …the necessity of….breed standards,f’rinstance, be gotten through to them?
The necessity for training & discipline?
Etc.,etc.
Or is any attempt at education akin to bailing out the ocean w/a sieve?
