Dog facts, alpha leader hurry please help?

My American bulldog just passed at 17 years old. And now i have a 2 year old boxer and 2 year old Border Collie. And so i was wondering how do i tell wich one is the domiate pack leader ( Besides Me ) So please tell me how can i tell wich is the leader. Boxer Is Male ( Chaos ) Border Collie Is A Spayed female ( Oreo )
My american bulldog was female and was pack leader. Also all dog trainers have told me that females are 99.9 % of the time Pack Leader.
My border collie wont attack anybody or anything but they will fight and she pins him on his back….
Cow girl im very sorry you grew up not knowing the truth i realy am sorry. BUT cezar Malon is the best dog trainer in the world and even he says that 99 % Of the time the female is pack leader besides the humans in the household.

How much should I charge for dog-training and sitter?

I’m an experienced dog trainer (I’ve fully trained my three dogs, as well as several of my friends dogs which included a pitbull, rottweiler, and german sheperd) and needing some extra cash for how everything is so expensive these days, I want to take up a part-time job of dog-training and sitting. How much should I charge? What would you pay for a personal trainer? By the way, I’m 17 1/2.

Dog Training – The No Command

THE COMMAND “NO”
One of the first and most imperative things for the puppy to learn is to obey the command, “No.” Teaching this should start in the housebreaking period. Whenever the animal makes a mistake it should be told briskly, “No,” grasped by the scruff of the neck, shown what it has done, and then placed on its housebreaking paper.

The sharp “No” should also accompany any excess barking or biting on the part of the puppy as well as any other of its undesirable actions.

The tone of voice and the attitude of the owner must be such as to make it completely clear to the puppy that disapproval is expressed. The dog will gradually come to associate unpleasantness with the word “No,” and will often seek refuge in its bed until the “heat is off.”

The owner should maintain aloofness for a couple of minutes. By that time the pup has forgotten about the whole thing, and further punishment would serve no purpose. Dogs seem to grasp the meaning of the word “No” very quickly, and this is a good thing because the word is invaluable in further training.

Dog training schools?

I think I’ve decided that I want to become a dog trainer, and I’m trying to find a school around the Nebraska area, but I can’t seem to find anything, i would love to travel somewhere else for the few weeks that you have to go through training, but I don’t know if that would be possible. If i could, i would be interested in looking somewhere in San Diego, CA or New York City. If anyone has any information, that would be great! I appreciate it!!

Do you have to go to a dog training school to become a service dog trainer?

I mean the schools that are like Bergin. Can you be a service dog trainer (for other people not just your dog) if you know what to teach them? Is it if you go through that certain school do they give you a certificate of some sort that tells you that you are allowed to train them a give them to other people?

Dog Training?

Is there a free site for training tips?I have a very stubbern English Bulldog that I just cant break.This is my 4th Bulldog and none have been this bad.Im by no means a dog trainer so if someone could guide me you’ll get your 10 pts.He will sit and shake put the biggest problem is getting him to come mainly when he’s tired.Please help me!!
